Technology and science have obviously progressed significantly in the last couple of years; which has led some of the world’s smartest and wealthiest people to blur the lines between reality and science-fiction.
Jeff Bezos – Founder of Amazon.com
Bezos has financially backed and researched for a giant clock, located in a mountain that will tick once per year, every year, for the next 100 centuries. He has – for obvious reasons named it the 10,000 year clock.
Elon Musk – creator of PayPal, Tesla Motors and SpaceX
Musk has been working on a pneumatic transportation tubes that resemble the old T.V. show “The Jetsons.” These tubes will be equipped with seats and capable of reaching speeds up to 700 MPH to help long distance, speedy travel.
Larry Page – Co-founder of Google
Eric Schmidt – Alphabet Inc. Chairman
Page and Schmidt have invested money and time into a company whose sole purpose is to land tiny robots on asteroids and mine fuel and minerals from them.
Peter Thiel – Co-founder of Paypal and Facebook investor
Thiel is part of an organization known as the “Seasteading Institute” whose goal is to establish permanent, autonomous ocean communities to enable experimentation and innovation with diverse social, political and legal systems.
Paul Allen – Microsoft Co-founder
Allen has created the Allen Institute which independently studies brain research to better understand the stranger neurological disorders that humans can be diagnosed with – such as Alzheimer’s.
Dmitry Itskov – Media Mogul
Itskov founded the 2045 Initiative, which has a primary goal of converting humans into biological robots by the year 2045. Essentially they are attempting to create a way to download your brain into an avatar.
