Chance The Rapper is out to make a huge difference in the world, but he also wants to honor those who already have and currently are doing so.

The “No Problem” entertainer is launching a new inaugural awards show called the Twilight Awards, which will honor educators who are helping raise up the youth in our nation. The awards show will celebrate “teachers, parents, principals and students that convey leadership” and is set to take place in June 2018. James Corden has been recruited to be the awards ceremony’s host, along with guest performances, and it will take place in Chicago.

Chance made the announcement of the Twilight Awards towards the end of a summit for his SocialWorks charity, and even pledged a $2.2 million donation to 20 Chicago public schools.

“Every contribution … brings this city and this nation closer to providing a well-rounded quality education for each and every child,” Chance says in the video of the event. “Funding quality education for public [school] students is the most important investment a community can make.”

The Coloring Book rapper has been working hard to give back to communities all year, and even received the Humanitarian Award at the BET Awards earlier this year. Chance has been speaking out on the school system in his home city for some time, and even donated $1 million to public schools in Chi-Town earlier this year.
