“Rob & Big” star Christopher (Big Black) Boykin died Tuesday.

He was 45.

The MTV personality died of a heart attack, his rep told People.

Boykin, who served in the Navy, was hired by skateboarder Rob Dyrdek to serve as his bodyguard in a promotional skit for DC Shoes.

Boykin was best known for his MTV reality show, “Rob & Big,” with skateboarder Rob Dyrdek.

The two then turned that partnership into “Rob & Big,” an MTV reality show that followed Boykin and Dyrdek in their daily lives.

The show ran for three seasons, from 2006 to 2008.

“My heart is broken,” Dyrdek tweeted late Tuesday night. “I don’t want write this post. I don’t want to believe that this is reality. I am so thankful for you.”

The best friends reunited in 2009 for “Fantasy Factory,” which ran through 2015.

“MTV is deeply saddened to learn the news of Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin’s passing,” an MTV spokesman told the Daily News. “He was a long time and beloved member of the MTV family and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this time.”

Boykin also launched his own clothing line, Do Work, in 2007.

He’s survived by 9-year-old daughter Isis.

Shannon Boykin, Boykin’s ex-wife, posted a tweet from the “Rob & Big” star’s Twitter account saying “I’m heartbroken to tell you of Black’s passing. He’s everything to me and Isis and we will miss him.”
