Do you ever feel like you need to make more money? Maybe saving for that vacation? or car? or just want to live comfortably? Well, there is a lot of money out there and it is spread all over the place. below are some stats to blow your mind on where the money all went.

The average American in 2015, makes approximately $51,000 USD annually. if you break that down it is approximately 10 cents a minute, for every minute you are Alive, not just working.

Lets take this a little further, the average American 1%er averages approximately $717,000 USD annually. Which equals out to approximately 0.02 cents a second – or $1.48/minute that they are alive. That difference is staggering that the 1%er makes 14 times what the average person makes annually, to simplify it they make more than an average person’s yearly wage every month.

Michael Jordan makes approx. $2.00/second he is alive, every year

Oprah Winfrey makes approx. $10.00/second she is alive, every year

To take this the furthest we possibly could; Bill Gates, an American business mogul and co-founder of Microsoft, who is also the richest man on the planet for 2015 – with an approximate net worth of 79.5 Billion. Bill Gates net worth averages out to approximately $114.16 /second, yes that amount is staggering – yes, it is literally cheaper for the man to drop $100 and leave it there then to pick it back up. He makes 571 times more than the average 1%er and 67,153 times more than the average American. If Bill Gates wanted to he could give every person on the planet – from oldest to born right now; man, woman and child – right this second $10.85 USD.

The poorest country on the planet is Malawi, located in Eastern Africa – with an approximate average income of $253 USD per year. The entire country’s GDP (in 2012) was approximately, 4.212 Billion. If the entire population of Malawi (16.36 million in 2013 census) saved their entire GDP – it would take 18.8 years to equal Bill Gates current income.

Now that is a spread of money across the world.
