Since the release of the classic film, JAWS, 41 years ago, sharks have gained a reputation as fierce man-eating, killing-machines. The results of “JAWS” fame actually had an effect on peoples interactions with the shark population; so much so, that the author of the original novel, Peter Benchley, spent the remainder of his life advocating for protecting these creatures – most likely out of guilt. Since that first film about underwater monsters that actually exist, there have been hundreds of films about sharks and their destruction; however, in recent years, there has been a new trend to create the most ridiculous, almost-unwatchable films that involve sharks. Listed below are some of these films that are literally so bad that they are hilarious to watch – some have even gained their own fame, like “Sharknado.”
