The Middle Finger

Two words, one finger. As for the origin of this fantastic gesture, it was used as a symbol for intercourse back in Ancient times. It was also used as a comedic way of insulting someone in Ancient Greek comedies. It was said to have come to North America via Italian immigrants in the 1890’s, holding the same meaning it does today: F**ck you.
