Caitlyn Jenner’s story began in April of this year when she announced that she is officially a trans woman. In July of this year Caitlyn (formally Bruce Jenner) announced that she is now Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine (shown above). Caitlyn has been encouraging others to be themselves and is now known as the most famous openly transgender woman in the world. Jenner has devoted herself to helping others and transgender issues, and won several awards for her efforts to help the transgender community – including the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
The Paris Attacks, that occurred on November 13th of this year, were large-scale, orchestrated attacks on multiple locations in Paris, France. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claim responsibility for this deadly attack which resulted in a several hour hostage situation, 130 innocent people killed and 368 people injured. This attack was the deadliest in France since WWII and put France in a state of emergency. This attack occurred ten months after the tragic Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris also perpetrated by members of the Islamic State.
